TITANS vs. GODS
Before gods, there were other forms of great power known as Titans. Mother Earth (also known as
Gaea) and Uranus (ruler of the heaven and sky), became the world’s first divine
couple and created all other Titans
One Titan known as Kronos was the father of the three main gods, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. He was an evil Titan who ate his children in fear that one day they would overthrow him and become the most powerful rulers of the universe. Zeus, as well as his brothers, were able to escape and Kronos’s worst nightmare became a reality.
Zeus and his brothers overthrew Kronos and banished their father and all Titans to the fiery pits of Tartarus. From then on, the Greek Gods ruled over all the world and brought great triumph and disaster along with them.
